The story

Here at Tripeak Apparel we believe that mental health is number one. We use the outdoors around us to keep our mental health in check. However if you need or are ever having a hard time and would like to talk there is always someone available 24/7. Here is the phone number for the Canadian mental health association -crisis line for anyone that may need it being you, friend or a family member; 1-800-784-2433

"Anyone can experience poor mental health"

"Anyone can be at risk of thoughts of                                          suicide"

"No one should have to hide or stay silent."

When the pandemic started, my wife and I made a conscious effort to support more local businesses- wineries, bakeries, local craft and artisans, orchards, and apparel.
Although we did a lot of hiking, camping and beaching this summer, I did not travel as often as usual due to the pandemic and I found I had some extra time on my hands.
Spending more time at home, I started looking for more ways to keep my busy, creative mind occupied. I started drawing simplistic designs inspired by the beauty around me, and then I thought, “This would look really cool on a shirt”

In January 2021, I created Tripeak to share my creativity with the outdoor loving, active community around me, and offer stylish, comfy affordable apparel. I also created an online blog on my webpage to build a community of like minded individuals care share and inspire others to go on a local adventure.

I am a local paramedic, working a high stress job which has only become more stressful during the pandemic. This company not only allows me to decompress after a long day or set at work, designing is also therapeutic and has a positive impact on my mental health.
The pandemic has challenged the community with additional stressors and we are seeing increasing numbers of individuals struggling with mental health. It is very important in these times that we all look after our mental health and take the time we need to cope what ever that may be. The ways that I like to cope with this are getting outside and exploring the natural beauty around us, and that is portrayed in my initiative to get out side and find your adventure.
